While the dynamic mic capsule doesn't require it, 48V phantom power applied to the input engages the DYNAMITE preamp—providing +30 dB of gain without the need for a bulky in-line preamp. In addition, two switches provide EQ adjustments, allowing you to get just the right tonality for your voice and leave the setting for consistent, no-fuss results every time.

Also helping you get clear, intelligible speech is a three-layer pop filter system that eliminates the need for a large and unsightly external pop filter, providing a clean, neat appearance that looks great for on-camera applications. Similarly, the DynaCaster's built-in shockmount eliminates the need for bulky external shockmounts while effectively isolating the capsule from vibrations for cleaner recordings. The mic offers a durable all-metal build quality and features a built-in mic stand mount with a wide swivel that's ready to attach to any desktop boom (available separately).
