Mapex Storm Drum Sets include a full set of stands and a bass drum pedal, giving entry-level drummers a quality instrument right out of the box - the only thing you'll need to play is a throne and a pair of sticks!

The Fusion configuration features a smaller floor tom and bass drum than the Rock configuration, giving you a tuning range that is more widely used in fusion, pop, and world genres.

The shells on each one of these drums is made from poplar plies with a total thickness of 7.2mm. This wood is strong for its weight, giving you a sound that's bright and responsive.

The depths on the toms are on the shorter side, making your attack sound quicker and physical positioning easier.

The SONIClear 45-degree bearing edges on every drum are fully rounded on the outside, designed to keep heads from sitting too high like they do on older, thinner bearing edges. This results in more resonance from the shells, giving you a clearer tone with each hit. The sound is fuller and bigger than it would be otherwise.

With SONIClear bearing edges the heads are also able to vibrate more freely, and that means longer decays and the elimination of dead sounds. It's also far easier to tune drums with heads that sit well on the bearing edges, so you don't need to have tuned drums for years to get yours to sound great.
