Description

The SE Electronics X1 S Studio Bundle is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone and accessory package designed for quality vocal and podcast recording in project studios, home setups, and mobile rigs. It includes the X1 S cardioid studio condenser mic, an RF-X reflexion filter, a pop filter, shockmount, and a 10’ microphone cable.

The durable, metal-bodied X1 S features a handcrafted gold-sputtered capsule, wide frequency response and dynamic range, and a selectable 80 or 160 Hz low-cut filter to reduce rumble and low-frequency buildup. A switchable -10 or -20 dB pad minimizes distortion when miking loud sources. The mic can handle a maximum SPL of 140 dB (160 dB with the -20 dB pad engaged). It utilizes a gold-plated XLR 3-pin jack and requires 48 VDC phantom power. The included accessories aid in eliminating unwanted sounds from plosives, room reflections, and vibration.

The SE Electronics X1 S is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for versatile, full-range vocal and instrument recording in commercial facilities, project studios, home setups, and mobile rigs. The handcrafted gold-sputtered capsule features a pressure-gradient design for directional focus and rejection of off-axis sounds. It utilizes a gold-plated XLR 3-pin jack and requires 48V phantom power.

The metal-bodied X1 S delivers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and a selectable 80 Hz or 160 Hz low-cut filter to reduce rumble and low-frequency buildup. A switchable -10 dB or -20 dB pad minimizes distortion when miking loud sources such as drums and amplified guitars. Even without a pad, the X1 S can handle a maximum SPL of 140 dB. It ships with a mic clip and thread adapter for easy mounting on a mic stand.

The gray sE Electronics RF-X Reflexion Filter X is a budget-friendly solution for vocalists, podcasters, and narrators who need to reduce unwanted room ambience while recording in untreated acoustic environments. This reflection filter merges technology from the upscale Reflexion Filter PRO with a lightweight body and an easy-to-use clamp assembly.

It features a four-layer acoustic filter design to effectively impede room reflections and keep sound coloration to an absolute minimum. The RF-X clamp assembly's lightweight design can be used on almost any microphone stand while allowing the position of your mic to be adjusted horizontally without moving your mic stand or the RF-X. Thanks to the L-bracket, you can also adjust the height of the RF-X.

It features a four-layer acoustic filter design comprised of the outer vented composite panel, a wool fabric layer, an air gap layer, and an inner acoustic foam layer.

Minimal Sound Coloration

This multilayer design differentiates the RF-X from typical designs by filtering frequencies evenly across the whole spectrum, helping to ensuring that recordings exhibit almost zero sound coloration when using the filter.
